Video Cannot be played

Ok, I need some help, big time. I recently filmed video on my Samsung Galaxy S Note 10.1 Tablet. When I go to play video back, it plays for 10 seconds then i get an error message... This video cannot be played. And the other videos wont play at all, i just get error message ... This video cannot be played. What would be the cause for this?

Also my cousin went to settings for video gallery and cleared cache and now i cannot find the videos in my gallery at all. Please tell me they are not deleted permanently and that i can restore them. These videos were really really important. HELP!!

Now I just turned off my tablet and turned it back on, hoping to retrieve videos, and I'm getting message that SD card is damaged. Why would this have occurred?
