[Update] The Galaxy Note 3 with 4K resolution? Now that's crisp!

While we are all waiting for the Galaxy Note 3 which may or may not appear at the IFA starting next week, Berlin Germany's electronic consumer event, more information has been released hot of the web stands about the device's camera packing 4K video capture for some crisp goodness and impressive audio playback.

What we knew

What we had already envisioned for Galaxy Note 3 tech specs is pretty complete, even before Korean Economic Daily was tipped-off by their Samsung source, or so-called industry official, with this audio and video news. From the huge array of leaks, we've got the Note 3 running either on a Snapdragon 800 or Exynos 5 Octa 5420 processor, holding an enlarged memory of 3 GB, the standard 16/32/64 GB of internal storage on top of the microSD slot, a 5.68-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display, a 13 MP camera and the latest Android version, 4.3. The new phablet will undoubtedly be packing an S-Pen stylus like the other devices from the Note series.

What we now know

With this newest update, it looks like the Note 3 has got more to offer: owners will be able to record videos in 4K which is a note-worthy boost from the 1080p video capture that its predecessor has to offer. Now that's crisp! Not only that, we could be looking at enhanced audio quality of 24-bit, placing the newcomer ahead of competition and way past previous Galaxy phones.

All this murky leak and rumor business will be shone under a new light next week when we, fingers crossed, see Samsung deliver the Note at the IFA where AndroidPIT will be ready, pen and paper in hand, for some mad note scribbling. Let's see if any of our IFA predictions will come true.

What do you think about this new info? If we think we now know everything, chances are more will be revealed in the days to come.

[Update 27.08.2013 at 4:05 PM, Berlin]

New leaked images have just appeared of the Galaxy Note 3's screen, which like we mentioned above should be a 5.38-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display. The pics came from a certain SonnyDickson's blog. It looks like the site was trying to post parts for the new iPhone when they suddenly received these leaks from a trusted Chinese source. The pics so far don't show us too much, however allow us to think that our speculations on the size are correct. The images also show that it's slightly different than the Note 2 in that the boarder is slimmer and that it's about 1.8 mm thick. Other pictures were also released on etradessupply.com. Leaks are popping up like gopher heads all over the place!
