How to install the ElementalX kernel on the Nexus 5

This is ClockworkMod recovery. Your custom recovery may be different but the idea is the same. USing the volume buttons, seelct ''install zip'' and press Power to confrim. © nextpit

Assuming you've just downloaded the EleementalX file to your phone, select ''install zip from last install folder'' and press Power to confirm. © nextpit

If you've chosen to flash the standard kernel (not the express version) you'll have options to change your CPU settings. © nextpit

If you want to overclock your CPU you can also do that with ElementalX, but this is only recommended for advanced users. © nextpit

You can also undervolt your battery, but the default settings are recommended here unless you know what you are doing. © nextpit
