Java Developer Web Applications
Currently we are looking for a dedicated and independent personality who is a huge fan of Android and enjoys working in a start-up atmosphere. If you see development much more as art and not as craft only, join our hard-working and fun-loving team in the heart of Berlin!
Your Responsibilities:
- Development of new features for our web portal www.androidpit.com.
- Design and development throughout all application tiers.
- Coordinating with fellow developers to bring new features to life.
- Be a voice of the user, always advocating for the best user experience while understanding the whole business process and be able to predict possible errors in advance.
Your Profile:
- You have a solid knowledge and several (5+) years of practical experiences in Java software development and object-oriented analysis and design..
- You are familiar with (or eager to become so): Spring Framework, JPA, Hibernate, Freemarker, Android, Tomcat, MySQL.
- Knowledge of development tools, such as Eclipse, Ant, Maven and Git (or at least one other source control system).
- You are independent and result-oriented.
- You enjoy finding the small-but-important details, and have strong quality assessment skills.
- Fluency in German or English language.
