Features & Use
Smartphone tested: Samsung Galaxy Note 2
Android version: 4.1.2
Nighty Night! - Bedtime Story is an app dedicated to children from ages 0 to 4. It is a sort of electronic book that tells stories and offers some interactive elements just like any smartphone application. The app has a very simple structure and focuses on different characters.
The requested actions are launched rather simply and aim to develop action-reaction reflexes in a child. The graphics are well made and its functioning mechanisms are simple enough even for the little ones. You're also able to reduce the volume or run it in silent mode.
To purchase other characters and make the actions more diverse, you´'ll need to pay a fee within the app to get those new animals/characters at the price of 1.99 €. This price seems actually too high for the additional content of the app.
Nighty Night! - Bedtime Story is an app for children that up until now has been lacking on Android. It is designed not only to go to sleep but also as for daily exercise. The app is very well done in terms of its concept and visual level. Those who have young children should really think of purchasing this in order to ease the bed time ritual.
Screen & Controls
Nighty Night! - Bedtime Story engaging, and the controls are very intuitive, though at times I noticed small delays in reaction time.
Speed & Stability
Nighty Night! - Bedtime Story worked well and without glitching up during the test. I only had to restart my smartphone once due to a small malfunction.
Nighty Night! - Bedtime Story can be downloaded for free from Google Play Store in a version without advertising. As mentioned, the in-app shop allows you to buy other animals at the price of 1.99 €.
