Non-PlayStation Certified Device? Not A Problem At All...
Recent news concerning PlayStation certification touched on a bunch of select HTC devices, and ever since then, a group of modders and developers have worked to figure out a method that similar treatment will arrive on other devices apart from the mentioned HTC devices. Apparently where there is a will, there is a way, and this way could jolly well be a near universal path to enable rooted devices to take advantage of PlayStation capabilities.
According to XDA Senior Member NOMIOMI who released a mod which allows just about everyone and their dog with a rooted device to be able to gain PlayStation Certified access. Of course, this is not the first of such mods as there were other mods before it, but those failed to have such a near universal approach.
NOMIOMI’s mod is slightly different as those who have given it a go, be it whether you are from the Sony, Samsung, or Asus camp, have reported success after installing it. First of all, you will need to have a rooted device with a custom recovery, followed by downloading and installing the PlayStation Mobile app in the same way you would do with other APK files.
After that, download all of the other required files, followed by flashing them in custom recovery. Last but not least, move a few files to their strategic places, and it is best if you were to use a root-enabled file manager app to get the job done. All in all, following those steps religiously should be able to let you gain access to PlayStation Mobile games as though you were holding a PlayStation Certified device in your hands.
