Well, that didn’t take long. The FCC specs for the supposed LG Nexus 5 were leaked earlier today and already there have been some speculation of what exactly the device is going to look like. As if catching a glimpse of it in the Android 4.4 KitKat video wasn’t enough, a user over at reddit has made a mock-up from the FCC specs and damn do they look good.
Reddit user Vovicon did the mock-up based on the FCC specs that were discovered earlier and also used the still image from the KitKat video to complete his render. While he states that some aspects of the design he had to guess as to what they were going to be, like the screen ratio and positioning, shape of the bezel and the sides of the device, it still came out looking pretty great.
If this is what the LG Nexus 5 is going to look like, I’m a fan.
What are you hoping to see from the Nexus 5 in terms of design and technical specs? Let us know in the comments!

And the renders keep on coming. This time, with the higher-res photos that were found to be from the FCC, a new render of the device has popped up that seems to be more true to form of what the LG Nexus 5 will look like. As with the previous design above, this was designed by reddit user Vovicon.
The biggest changes come to the camera on the back and the placemant of the front facing camera. As well, as we can see in the compraison video below there has been no real confirmation on the earpiece speaker for the phone. Is it just a bad picture being taken by the photographer? Or does the Nexus 5 not have a standard earpiece speaker placement?
