I try my best, but I manage to forget appointments like nobody's business, including important appointments and birthdays. I decided to stop the madness and installed Schedalls—and I must say that the app has made a positive difference in my life.
Schedalls is an app that allows users to create SMS in advance and then select a time and date at which the SMS in question is to be sent. You may opt to send the message to more than one recipient, meaning that well wishes are sent out to all your friends and colleagues just after midnight on New Year's Eve, for instance. There's also an option for setting the app to send out your SMS at a later point in time, just in case there's no network coverage at the moment the message is meant to go out.
More fun features: Schedalls will post automatic Facebook status updates, provided you go for the in-app purchase that will unlock this feature (EUR1.00). I'm happy to report that this feature works out very nicely.
Should you wish to post on a friend's wall you will have to sync Facebook contacts with the smartphone/tablet. Next, sign in via the Schedall settings and you're good to go.
Check what's coming up next on Schedalls' list where you can also review previously sent messages. You can also set up templates that can be sent out for various occasions.
Schedalls leaves little to be desired. It runs very smoothly, SMS messages arrive right on the button and the Facebook function is a fun extra feature. Next up: Email and Twitter support.
Screen & Controls
Full marks for Schedalls in this category. The layout and navigation of the application are top notch. It doesn't take any time at all to get one's bearing and the app comes with a modern looking design.
Speed & Stability
Very good performance in this category also. Schedalls is fast, smooth and dependable.
Schedalls is free from Google Play and doesn't display any ad banners. The free version doesn't support the Facebook feature; should you want it you will have to go for the in-app purchase for EUR1.00.
