The Samsung Galaxy S3 the latest smarthphone to debut in the impressive Galaxy Series. The successor of the Galaxy S2 had very high expectations to live up to - and upon its release it certainly did not disappoint.
The Galaxy S3 debuted with a 4.8inch HD Display, a 8 Megapixel back and 1.9 Megapixel front camera and was packed with a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor. Within days of its release it became the best selling Android smartphone and hailed as an iPhone killer.
Originally launched with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, it was among the first models to be updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. In September, Samsung introduced an ultra fast 4G LTE Version of the Galaxy s3, along with a 4G version of the Galaxy Note 2.
