Droid RAZR Images Leaked Ahead of Launch

Authored by: Steven Blum — Oct 18, 2011

If you've been anxiously checking the Motorola teaser site hoping to catch a glimpse of the RAZR, you can call off the search right now. Droid Life has found images of the highly anticipated new phone hiding in plain sight on Motorola's website.

So what do we have here? Well, it looks like the Droid RAZR is a slim beauty with a kevlar backing and a Droid X-esque nump up top, a rear camera with 1080ß HD video recording, a set of four touch buttons and a lightly-refreshed Droid Eye.

Here are the other specs being churned through the rumor mill:

  • LTE / UMTS-smartphone
  • Android 2.3 and Ice Cream Sandwich Upgrade
  • 10.9 cm multitouch (4.3 inch)
  • 540 x 960 pixels QHD
  • 1.2 GHz Dual-Core
  • 16 GB of memory,
  • microSD slot,
  • 8-MP camera, HD video, LED flash
  • GPS, Webtop function, compass.

So it seems ICS may not be available immediately on this phone but later as an upgrade. Not too shab, huh? Oh, and don't forget to check back on AndroidPIT this evening as we liveblog the official unveiling of the Droid RAZR.
