First Pictures of LG's Dual-Core LU6200 HD Appear Online

Authored by: Steven Blum — Sep 19, 2011

LG does not seem to be the favored manufacturer in the Android world. Sales of the LG Optimus 3D are stagnant and readers of our sister german site did not seem so enthused by the announcement of the LU6200 – LG's first dual-core device with HD display.

Nonetheless, we thought we'd reveal a few of the newest pictures of the Android device on our site today. As you can see, it's got a checkered case and what appears to be a dual-flash camera. The UI looks quite similar to the LG Optimus 3D.

These are the rumored specs:

  • 1.5 GHz dual core processor
  • DLNA
  • LTE connectivity
  • WiFi direct
  • Android 2.3
  • 4.5 inch IPS HD display

The device is launching in Korea next month but no word yet when it will be released stateside.
