Samsung Hub reported yesterday about a pic leaked by Samsung South America's official Twitter account, showing the Samsung Galaxy S alongside a mysterious but similar looking tablet. AndroidCentral says that even though "they both have a striking resemblance to certain other “half-eaten fruit” devices, we can assure you that what’s inside is totally different (and much more beautiful, I might add)."
Samsung Hub writes that spec-wise, the tablet sports a 7-inch TFT screen, 3.5mm audio jack, Samsung's TouchWiz UI, possibly a front facing camera, and likely 3G or greater abilities, judging from the phone icon in the picture.
Phandroid notes that the tablet will feature Android 2.1 and that "The device’s design gives off a very strong iPad-esque vibe, but that’s to be expected after their Galaxy S was described by many to give off an iPhone-esque design (in both software and hardware)."
The source for the image has taken down the original pic, so what exactly happened here is anyone's guess, but I'll go with the idea that the picture was not supposed to be leaked. AndroidCentral mentions that more pictures should be available soon, but I wouldn't bet on it at this point.
