The JWR66Y Over The Air update we reported on yesterday – the one that improves security on the Nexus 4 and Galaxy Nexus – has now been released OTA for the old Nexus 7 (2012) as well as the Nexus 10. The update is not the 4.3.1 build everyone is waiting for, but it does make some minor improvements.

On the brand-new side of things, the new Nexus 7 (2013) has received a new update in a different direction, JSS15Q, which resolves the spooky ghost fingers multi-touch issue and supposedly also repairs the GPS lock issues. Our new Nexus 7 hasn't received the OTA update yet, but we couldn't duplicate any of the multi-touch issues we've seen described anyway.
