Official Android 4.4.2 factory images available for Nexus devices

With Android 4.4.2 KitKat only a couple of days old, Google has uploaded the factory images and binaries for the Nexus suite of smartphones. We've got them down below for you or you can pick up them up from the Google Developer's page. With the AOSP source code freely available in the AOSP repository as well, developers can now start working with those components to optimize their apps and ROMs.

The Android 4.4.2 firmware was available for sideloading a few days ago, cutting the wait time for the standard OTA delivery method significantly. Nexus owners are generally quite comfortable with manually updating their devices, and the factory image availability means that if other tinkering goes a little pear-shaped you at least have quick access to a shiny clean version of your Nexus on 4.4.2 before you messed everything up.

Without any further ado, here's the download links for the Android 4.4.2 factory images. Check in to Google's Developer page for further information.

Android 4.4.2 (KOT49H) "nakasi" for Nexus 7 (Wi-Fi)

Have you needed to flash a factory image on your Android before? Do you wish all manufacturer factory images were as easy to locate as Google's?
