Winner of a 2012 Popular Mechanics Editors Choice Award
Dayco, a leader in the research, design, manufacturing and distribution of a broad range of belts, tensioners and pulleys for the automotive, trucking, construction, agricultural and industrial markets, introduces the “Dayco App” for mobile and tablet devices.
Using state-of-the-art scan technology, scan your VIN with the smartphone’s built-in camera for immediate access to a complete list of Dayco parts that match your vehicles year, make, and model.
Whether you are a professional mechanic, do-it-yourselfer, or work in a retail location, you can also search Dayco parts by category, manually entering the VIN number, or referencing saved vehicles under My Searches. You can also enter another company’s part number and find the Dayco part equivalent. If you have a Dayco part and need specs, routing instructions, or brochures, simply enter the Dayco part number for an instant list.
For those that need to visit or call a retail location, click the Where to Buy tab and find a location near you. The Learning Center provides multiple resources for belts, tensioners, and hose applications. Make a quick call or send an email to Dayco at the tap of a button.
The Dayco app is simple to use, offers comprehensive tools for every need, and the results are immediate. Application information is provided for auto and light trucks, ATVs and snowmobiles, heavy duty, hydraulic, industrial, and lawn and grounds.
Some known issues are as follows: - 4.1 Jelly Bean: users may have some difficulty with the VIN scanner on certain devices. - 2.2 Froyo: maps do not load because this version of Android cannot render SVG (scalable vector graphics). Our recommendation is that 2.2 Froyo users upgrade their software.
Do you have a question about this app?
