You're driving in your car and see an unknown license plate. You wonder: "Where's he coming from...?"
This and other cases the app where developed for. Just enter the license plate number, e.g. "B", into your Android-Smartphone and it immediately shows you the information you need. (In this case it's Berlin in Germany).
Furthermore are you able to see where the city is. Thereto Google Maps and an internet connection is needed.
Also it's possible to show the distance from where you are to the selected city. (You'll need an internet connection as well as a gps-connection for this.)
Since version 1.1.1 there's a reverse search integrated. With this you simply add a city e.g. "Munich" and get all information about it.
Since version 2.0 english is integrated. The standard-language from now on is english! Also you're able to get a list of all license plates of a country.
Countries in this app are: Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Serbia/Montenegro/Yugoslavia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine Furthermore there are further information about Belgium, Denmark and Luxembourg where it's not possible to get the city for a license plate.
The app's running on all Smartphones with Android from version 2.0 (Eclair) and higher. From version 2.2 (Froyo) App2SD is available.
New versions of the app are only available for Android-Devices with version 2.2 and higher from app-version 1.1 on!
