FireAlert 2 is the further development of the now for more than two years successful SMS/MMS alarm app for Android. It is the perfect solution for Firefighters and other profession's where missing a text is not an option! It makes your mobile working like a pager. It can be used by - Firefighters - emergency medical services (EMS) - coastguard - mountain rescue service - Red Cross - Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) - and many more
Beside the rescue organistations, you can use FireAlert 2 to monitor server and control systems. To use FireAlert 2 you must already receive SMS/MMS, Email or calls which will require your special attention.

Important! This is the first public version of FireAlert 2. Some people tested this version in advance already, but due to the many different devices and Android version it can come to problems at any time. Some functions are device specific and don't work on any device. The biggest problem will cause the camera flash-light. If you notice any problems, contact me over mail. Thank you very much! Allows the application to access the phone features of the device. An application with this permission can determine the phone number and serial number of this phone, whether a call is active, the number that call is connected to, ect.

Allows the application to control the vibration alert.

Allows application to modify global audio settings such as volume and routing.
Allows application to take pictures with the camera. This allows the application at any time to collect images the camera is seeing.
prevent phone from sleeping
Allows an application to prevent the phone from going to sleep.
Allows an application to disable the keylock and any associated password security. A legitimate example of this is the phone disabling the keylock when receiving an incoming phone call, then re-enabling the keylock when the call is finished.
