ASUS announces MeMO Pad FHD 10 and MeMO Pad HD 7 tablets

Well, it looks like tablets are the talk of the town and it was no exception for ASUS at Computex. ASUS has just announced two tablets in their MeMO line: the MeMO Pad FHD 10 and the MeMO Pad HD 7. The FHD 10 is a 10-inch tablet boasting a 1920x1080 screen and Atom processor (!!!) and the Pad 7 is a refresher of ASUS' popular budget friendly MeMO Pad.

As you can see from the specs above, there is still a little bit of missing information in regards to the tablets, such as for the MeMO Pad HD 7, there is no indication to the model or speed of the quad-core processor inside it. As well, the specs for the FHD 10 didn't reveal anything in regards to it's RAM.

However, an interesting tid-bit is that both tablets will come with protective TransCover cases with a microfiber interior, which allows users to propr up the tablet for watching videos or typing on it like a keyboard. As well, both devices come with a certain amount of ASUS Webstorage. For the HD 7, you get 16GB of Webstorage for free for one year. For the FHD 10, you get 5GB free of lifetime Webstorage.

Best feature in my opinion? The price. For the 16GB model of the HD 7, you can spend less than 150 dollars and easily upgrade the amount of storage via the microSD port. Pricing for the FHD 10 is still forthcoming.
