AT&T has dropped the price of one of its Windows 8 offerings, The Nokia Lumia 920, down to 99 cents after dropping the price late in August from $99 to $49. The drop in price in the month of August was largley due to the impending launch of the Nokia Lumia 925.

The Nokia Lumia 920 launched on AT&T about one year ago and it has actually had a good run ever since. Around this time next month we are also waiting for AT&T to launch the phablet device which will be the Nokia 1520 device. Perhaps this is the phone that will see the Lumia 920 be put to sleep. If this happens then the devices that Nokia will have on AT&T will be the Nokia Lumia 520, 925, 1020 and 1520, which seems a pretty decent refresh for the American Telecommunication giant's Windows Phone offerings.

Some who shopped around might have been able to get the Nokia Lumia 920 for 99 cents before the price was officially dropped by AT&T, but unfortunately most people still buy their phones by searching online instead of actually looking for deals on site like Amazon.

The phone has accounted for about 13% of Windows phone devices in the United States and is currently the third most popular phone in the country at the moment.
