Description
Amazon introduced its first smartphone in 2014, titled the Fire Phone, showing off its innovative use of 3D technology. The Fire Phone hardware comes straight from HTC and runs on Fire OS 3.5, based on Android. It uses four front sensors to measure eye movement, and support improved facial recognition, as well as deliver a 3D effect Amazon calls "dynamic perspective". It comes with a one year subscription to Amazon Prime and is optimized for shoppers throughout, with access to Amazon's own app store rather than the Google Play Store.
