The HTC Desire S was unveiled at the 2011 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and is the successor to the HTC Desire. It was shipped with Android 2.3 and HTC Sense 2.1. In August 2012, there was an update to Android 4.0 on HTC's developer portal HTCdev. The Desire S houses a Snapdragon processor with a clock speed of 1 GHz and 768 MB RAM. The internal memory is just 1.1 GB, however, this can be expanded using a microSD card up to 32 gigabytes. The display size is 3.7 inches with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.
