The HTC Desire X (codenamed "Proto") is the successor to the Desire S. It was presented at the IFA 2012 and outwardly resembles the HTC One X. It is a mid-range smartphone with a 4-inch screen and 480 x 800 pixels resolution. It features a dual-core processor (1 GHz Snapdragon S4), a 5-megapixel camera and a removable 1,650 mAh battery. The internal memory of 4 GB can be expanded with a microSD card. The Desire X launched with Android 4.0.4 and the user interface Sense 4.1. It also included "Beats Audio" sound enhancement.
