The HTC One M9+ is an updated version of the HTC One M9, making updates in key areas that were criticized in its predecessor. The One M9+ retains the all-metal design of the One M9, but upgrades the screen to a 5.2-inch QHD display. There have also been some big changes below the display, with the new fingerprint sensor splitting the bottom BoomSound speaker grille into two speakers. The chipset has also been overhauled, with HTC dropping the Snapdragon 810 in favor of the MediaTek helio X10 octa-core chipset, clocked to 2.2 GHz.
