The HTC Sensation was launched in spring 2011. It came onto the market with Android 2.3.3 and HTC Sense 3 interface and was considered at the time of presentation as HTC's flagship model. The 4.3-inch display qHD resolution offered blue chip display quality and, combined with the processor clock speed of 1.2 gigahertz, made it one of the fastest processors on the market. Most striking is the unusually designed case with its mixture of aluminum and plastic. The last operating system update to the HTC Sensation brought the device to Android 4.0 in the spring of 2012.
