The HTC Wildfire S is the successor of the 2010 entry-level model HTC Wildfire. It was presented in spring 2011 at the MWC and went on sale three months later. It features a 600 MHz processor and 512 MB RAM. At market launch, it came with Android 2.3.5 and HTC Sense 2.1. The camera has a resolution of 5 MP and the 512 MB of internal memory can be expanded via microSD. The 3.2-inch display, with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels, is a significant improvement over the predecessor, but the Wildfire's trackball is no longer included in the Wildfire S.
