Sony Tablet S

Description

The Sony Tablet S was unveiled in September 2011 and is Sony’s very first tablet. Externally, it is primarily distinguishable by its unusual design: the asymmetric shape is reminiscent of a folded magazine. The wedge-shaped housing is best held in vertical format and the back is two-toned. A special feature that Sony installed on their first tablet was the the infrared sensor, which the manufacturer has also included in its 2013 smartphone collection. With the Tablet S, Sony managed to go their own way and stand out against the Apple iPad design.
