Trying to get Dashclock widgets on my lockscreen. I'm supposed to swipe until a blank screen appears with a "+" sign? No screen with a "+" sign ever appears. Also, How do I take a screen capture? S4 GPE running 4.4.2

Thanks it's the volume and power button for the S4. I wasn't holding the buttons down long enough apparently. I'm so accustomed to the iphone instant screen capture. I fixed the other issue as well. LOVING my S4 GPE!!!!

Isn't it the same as on S3? Activate guestures, swipe from left to right (or vice versa), and the screen is captured.

When gestures are activated (once), nothing is easier than just swiping Your hand across the screen. A simple one-hand procedure

well, everyone has a different taste,i prefer to use buttons,as you can swipe accidentally and take a screenshot when you don't need it

@rob. for the lock screen widgets to work u have to go to settings-my device-lock screen and select allow multiple widgets. then u should be able to slide the screen to get the blank screen with the + on it. at least that's how it works for me on 4.3.
