I'd start with things to improve usability.
I install in all my devices SwipePad. It helps you switch from an app to another quickly, which increases ease of navigation enormously (there is also another app called last action switcher that was a keeper for a long time, but swipe pad beats it in what you can do).
Some kind of sweep keyboard. I use Go Keyboard.
An app drawer better than Android's built in. I use Organized Drawer, again it makes everything very easy to find and reach to.

My best app is WatchLater. Can download video and watch without internet connection and no any ads

The first thing when I wake up is to open Instagram and Flipboard app to see what's going on.
When I'm out, I would play Pokemongo and use Wifi Master Key to connect to wifi

others are more towards ur own self interest.
