So I'm curious what the concensus is on wether Advanced Task Killer or Advanced Task Manager is prefered. I'm using them both at the moment but can't figure out why...between the two which is better??

I use Advanced Task Killer Free. It does what I need it to: kill apps. What kind of phone do you have (Eris, right?), as Task Killers are said by many to be mostly unnecessary with the newer phones these days.

With Android 2.1, the OS should be able to take care of itself in most cases to preserve battery life. I still have Android 1.6, and I do feel that without a task killer, my phone would be slower and have less battery life.

I use ccToDo; it helps you put your business and personal life in order. It's a to-do list and task manager that travels with you wherever you go, and on whatever device you're using: Android, Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod, Windows, web, and email. Automatic cloud-synchronization means you'll never forget a task again.
