Normally, performance is great. Battery life is fine and the display is good. I've been having some problems getting the GPS to locate me correctly in the last few days. Maybe it is the apps that are using it. Not sure.

Just experienced the first "random reboot" yesterday. Not happy about it. I'm also seeming performance problems creep up slowly. For instance, after very heavy game usage or just after being on for a long time, it will get a bit stuttery and unresponsive. Others have been commenting about this in the XDA forums. This seems to be a Gingerbread issue, but there is not any sure way to know right yet. If it is an issue with the phone and not the OS, I'll be very unhappy. Hopefully Google will be fixing these problems soon.

If you are interested in it, check out my review of it here: https://www.nextpit.com/en/android/blog/393765/AndroidPIT-Review-Of-The-Nexus-S

HTC Incredible.. just got it a couple days ago.. and it is INCREDIBLE ! LOL

did you get it from Verizon? If so, you may be saddened to hear that a new HTC Incredible was just announced like two days ago. Should be coming out soon.

Even if you were to get the new incredible, the next week I'm sure something new would come out. You can never win! with word of all of these new dual core phones coming out, I'm sure all of our single core 1ghz phones will be laughed at. :/ and I'm sure a new version of android will come out that will need more power to run. And we will find ourselves with new phones. Never ending cycle.

Absolutely agree on that. The trick to avoid buyer's remorse is to just do your research beforehand on the phone you want to buy. For example with my last phone purchase, I knew that my phone was not bleeding edge technology, but I saw a lot of benefits in it.

The specs on the Nexus S I have aren't AMAZING, but it had the most features I was looking for in a phone. 4" screen, 5MP camera w/ flash, 1400-1500mAh battery, fast performance, and to top it all off, the most recent versions of Android, which as a blogger, is almost invaluable (but also sometimes a pain in the butt, when they aren't stable).

Even more exciting is the NFC technology built into my phone, as a lot of innovation is happening with it right now, and Germany looks positioned to be the first country in Europe and North America to incorporate NFC in a big way into society.

I choose the HTC Incredible because it's a lot like my HTC Eris feature wise but with more current hardware specs. This is an awesome device.. 8 meg camera with dual flash plus HD 720p cam recording. 3.7" 480x800 res screen, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, FM radio, 8GB internal flash memory plus an SD slot which I put another 8GB, optical joystick, and Android 2.2 with Sense UI.

Plus I'm rooted with "Incredibly Re-Engineered v2.3.1" ROM with other various tweaks.

Sounds impressive! I still love my droid x. After purchasing a 1950 mah battery I no longer have any issues. I have been hearing rumors of droid x 2! I might have to take a close look at that :)

I've got a Huawei Ideos X1.
It's my first smartphone, and pretty stone age :) Still, for the price it's beaut. Will have to update soon though because it's already frustrating me.
