Several "download" signs in the upper bar

I have downloaded the App Center today. I had no other market app before (having uninstalled Google's Android Market). Then I purchased and installed (successfully) an app (WavPlayer) from the App Center. Since then, I have 2 "download" signs in the upper bar, and they won't go away, even after several restarts and trying to clear the cache from within the App Center interface. Can you help?

I'm not positive about how these things work on your phone...but on mine, to clear the upper bar, you have to hold the upper bar and drag your finger down. This reveals all the notifications on your phone and you simply click a button that says "clear."
