I had heard that rooting the Galaxy Tab 10.1 was insanely simple so I looked around the internet and low and behold I found a link to a zip file that roots the device just like that. *snaps fingers.*

Awesome, huh? Now I realllllllly want to buy one.

Here's a link to the root.

Root instructions....
First you’ll need to download the USB drivers for the Galaxy Tab, which can be found HERE
Install and reboot your computer
Plug your Tab into your computer
Download the root exploit HERE
Open a command prompt, and enter your Android SDK directory, where you can run ADB
Enter the command:
adb push Samsung_Galaxy_Tab_10.1_root.zip /sdcard/Samsung_Galaxy_Tab_10.1_root.zip
Enter: adb reboot recovery
When you enter recovery, select the zip file you downloaded, apply, and reboot
Once your Tab is rebooted, head over HERE and pick up BusyBox
When you’ve got that downloaded to your computer head back to your command prompt
Enter the command:
adb push su_busybox_misc-sam_tab_10.1-051611.zip /sdcard/
Enter: adb reboot recovery
Once you’ve entered recovery again, volume down and select the file you pushed over
Hit power to select
Scroll down to apply and apply the zip
Once the flash is done, reboot
