HTC Desire HD — How do I activate "flip to silent"?

Does anyone know how to activate this feature on the HTC Desire?

Yup, the options are "phone ringtone," "quiet ring on pick-up," "pocket mode" and "flip for speaker" - all of which are great, but no option for flip to silent. Perhaps it is the default setting, though? I will call the phone to see!

Ah! It looks like this is the default setting on the desire, and there is no way to switch it off. Well, I think I'm happy about that, though I still think there should be the option for users to disable this feature if they want, though I suppose there are few people who'd want to turn the phone on it's stomach and NOT want it to shut up. :)

Maybe the option becomes visible if you change to one of the other options?
