Samsung Galaxy S — Samsung Kies Not Recognized by Windows

First, the Kies software worked beautifully, and I was able to transfer all of my music from my PC. I stored the files in my phone's internal memory and they worked fine. Then, all of a sudden, the Kies software doesn't recognize my phone like it before. I have been uninstalling and reinstalling it over and over again but no luck.

Did you get an update before the problem started? Or did you change the permissions in your phone? It might be the case that you accidently changed the permissions and KIES no longer is allowed to access your phone. Id give those a look first before you uninstall.
