T-mobile myTouch 3G - Mobile Network state disconnected

Hi Everyone,

My T-mobile phone recently stopped connecting to my mobile network. I have a flat-rate internet contract with Vodaphone and can send/receive phonecalls/sms however the 3G internet connection is not working. When checking under settings>about phone>status it has:
network: Vodafone.de
mobile network type: HSDPA
Service: In service
Mobile network state: disconnected

Does anyone have a suggestion as to how I can fix this problem?

That is so frustrating..

I tried to find a solution by looking around online but came up with nothing. Have you tried contacting Vodafone?

Yes, it is very frustrating. I have not gone to vodafone because I have a suspicion that the problem is with the phone and not the service, but I will definitely contact them today in hopes for a quick resolution. The reason I believe it may be the phone is that at home I have wifi which the phone was able to connect to some weeks ago and now it can no longer "see" the wifi. very odd...
