Samsung Galaxy S2 — Updating firmware?

I've connected to Kies and it says a new version is available. then I press update it and it looks like it's updating but it doesn't, actually. Why won't it work? Anyone have any advice?

That is strange. Have you tried re-booting the device and then checking for updates again?
