Hopefully, you read my blog post about the dominance of the most popular apps. Even though they're great, lets ignore mainstream apps for awhile. It's time to put on your skinny jeans and horn-rim glasses, AndroidPIT; we're going hipster. I want to hear about your recommendations of great obscure apps we've probably never heard off. :smug:

Aaron, could you link the blog posts? I don't see it. One game I thought was really fun, but was pretty much unknown (at least then) was called Ninja Swing. With the market no longer including a just-in section; dominance of mainstream apps is only going to get worse. Some might argue that the thousands of low quality apps produced by unknown developers should be swept under the rug. But, then again, just because apps are developed and advertised by large game companies doesn't make them the best apps. There's lots of indie game developers who are already struggling to get their apps known, who now have an even harder time.
