With data costs (surprisingly!) rising across America, I'm wondering how the cost per GB compares to other corners of the world. How much do you pay, approximately, per GB of data? I've heard plans in Austria and China are incredibly cheap. Are you there now? Is it true? Let everyone know below!

The data part of my subscription is ~$15.3 for 5GB/mo at a major network. Of course cheaper deals are available here in Denmark.

Yeah, Virgin Mobile has gotten better and better deals lately. Those prepaid guys in the US are giving the big guys a run for their money. That's great to see.

Telia (they're a part of the Swedish/Finnish TeliaSonera).

20 a month? Is it an unlimited plan or are there download caps?

I pay 35€ a month but thats for unlimited text messages, calling in my network and 1 gig at 3G speeds and the rest at a capted download speed. I actuallly think that deal isn't too bad because my bill can't go above 35€a month ever which is good for because because I do occassionaly run up a HUGE bill. I really should learn to pay more attention to how I'm using my data :/
