WTF no forum for lg vortex I mean its not that old. Is it?

any help with an update would be nice. running 2.2 .1 wifi only no carrier. Do I need to root or just upgrade and I.m runningout of memory

I've been told that you can root it using Z4 root. You can try downloading it here.

I have LG vortex that I was wanting to use just through wi-fi. How did you get the wi-fi to stay connected without activating service? I keep getting disconnected from the wi-fi??

Does the device disconnect on its own when you are in a wifi area? Or does it only disconnect when you leave the wifi area?
