My ChaCha went reload itself very frequently whenever i unlock the screen.
Sometime it reload from the HTC page (as if you are restarting ChaCha) and some time it blackout and start reloading the home page.
Was it software / hardware conflict or that is just how slow the ChaCha is?

Proabably, in 10 trials, 4 times is normal without reloading, 5 time reloading the home page and 1 other time reloading from the HTC page.

Is this a problem? Any solutions?

Thanks for any response.

Hi Jimmy,

Have you tried clearing the cache or deleting apps? Do you know if many of your apps are stored to your SD card or you're phone's memory? How many apps have you installed? Are there any other files on your phone which could be deleted?

I'm using 2G uSD. All my apps are stored in this card.
I think i should have about 1G apps stored and the other 600M or so is MP3.

Was it because of slowness when loading this huge data?
It was not software crash?

Thanks for helping. I'm new to Android phone. :)

It doesn't sound like 1 gig of apps on your ChaCha is really that much. What's your total storage space?

Do you have a lot of apps that run constantly in the background? If there are alot taking up your memory or runing in the background it could cause the issue.

I would try downloading a task killer / task manager and trying to keep a handle on what apps are using what resorces. That should help prevent lagging if you have any apps that are hogging memory.

Tried Task Killer...but the problem persisted.
Any good way to check if this is hardware problem?

I searched over the net but never have any similar case reported.

Hmmm the easiest way would be to check would be to have a technician look at it. Is it still under warranty? If so you could try taking your Chacha into the store where you bought it and having it checked out. Hope this clears up soon!

Wow, thanks for uploading the video! That's really helpful.

I am assuming you have not dropped the phone at any point as it looks in great condition, correct?

I have seen the same issue happen with an HTC Hero running 2.1., but I cannot figure out the connection.

What version of Android do you have on your phone? And are there any updates available? You can double check by going to Settings -> About Phone.

Have you had any updates recently as well?

Hi everyone.

I've just stumbled upon this thread searching about the same problem on my ChaCha.

The last thing I did before the problem started occurring was to install Skype and transfer it and some other applications to the SD card via Applications in Settings. I've uninstalled Skype but nothing changed.

Have anybody found a solution?

Thanks!
