Samsung Galaxy S2 — How can't I update newer Android version for my phone?

I got my Samsung Galaxy SII for 2 weeks. It is an international version. Why does the Android version keep staying at 2.3.3? I tried "Software update" already.

You have the latest software version as it is. There won't be any update for the moment until Ice Cream Sandwich comes around next year. So there is nothing to worry about.

First install Samsung pc suit in your phone
And after install connect your phone with your pc and check for update.
And download latest update for your Samsung galaxy s2

To update original roms from Samsung I use Odin 1.83
