Contract based Android Developer – Only U.S and Canada citizens or permanent residence accepted at present.
We are seeking a expert Android developers for our growing mobile application development team. Projects are either telecommute or onsite at clients’ location any where in the USA. We are looking for experienced and energetic programmers with prior development experience in Java.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Two or more years experience developing Android applications
• Strong understanding of the Android SDK and NDK, and UI design principles
• Familiarity with Android platform tools and AOSP
• Proficiency with Java and C/C++
• Experience integrating Java and C/C++ using JNI
• Thorough knowledge of software development practices and methodologies
• Solid background in data structures and algorithms
• Experience with multi-threaded applications
• Familiarity with standard Linux OS paradigms (sockets, IPC, etc.)
Desired Skills:
• Understanding of databases and SQL
• Working experience using SVN
• Familiarity with one or more of Perl, Objective C, and Javascript programming languages
• Familiarity with VoIP and the SIP protocol
Projects will range from everything from utilitarian apps to games. Developers will be responsible for all technical aspects involved with creating mobile applications, as well as for engaging with, responding to and informing clients in a professional, timely and courteous manner
