Have you tried force stopping the app and then rebooting the phone? Also, check in the music app to see if it has shake settings, as that could also be causing it.

Let me know how it goes!

If you open your music app and hit the menu button and then settings, they will normally be somewhere on that screen. It will say "shake settings". If you dont see that option, it probably means this feature isnt supported.

Have you tried using a 3rd party music app from the market to see if the problem still persists?

Besides, check your phones with antivirus. As it is not normal what is going on with your music app.

That is a really strange error. Why not try a factory reset and see if the problem still exists?

I dont think its a virus, but to be on the safeside, you could always download Avast Mobile Security or Lookout Security. Both are pretty good and have free versions.

Are you saying the music might be a ringtone you accidentally set?

Wait wait wait....it seems I misunderstood you.

It sounds to me like you have set a song as one of your notification tones. Thats why if you get any new notification you hear the music.

Deleting the songs might not solve the issue, as they might be in Androids system cache. You need to go into your sound settings and find notification tones, and change it to something else.

Give that a shot.

The to safeside, you can always download: the AVAST mobile security or mountain safety Kodak 10. The two sides are also good, free version.
