How do you get to the control menu im stumped......

If you mean the game settings menu, go into a game and press your menu (NOT HOME) button. It can look like a number of different thinks depending on your version of Android. Once you've pressed it, a bar will appear at the bottom with a button called "Settings". I think you can take it from here,
