The Chinese company Oppa has released a picture of a phone they have developed which claims to be the world's thinnest smartphone! You can read more about it here on our blog: https://www.nextpit.com/en/android/blog/404738/thinnest-smartphone

But would you buy a phone just because it was thin? Or do you look for something that's a little sturdier?

Let us know what criteria you look for in a new phone!

for me, the thinner the phone is, the more it has a huge chance of getting damage right away

I prefer not too thin, not too small, not too big, and not too light but not too heavy.
Thin and light usually ends up broken faster, but large and heavy drops and smashes.
Also if its too small i cant type or read.

So I really have to hold the phone in my hands and compare.
i dont mind sacrificing a few functions here and there for the right sizing :)
functions can be covered by apps, but size is for ever.
