appropriate car charger

I bought a Samsung general car charger (in:10-30V, output:5V, 700mA) for my Samsung Note Android 2.3.6 device(this phone has wall charger: in:240V, output wall outlet:5V, 1.0A)... well is ok to use (as of Volts/Amperes)???

I would ask the place you bought it from to be on the safe side.

You can always compare the voltage requirements on both to be sure.
