I recently submitted my first Android app to Google Play. It's a simple geography quiz game known as PinCity (yeah, it's a deliberate pin on words... no pin intended). It probably won't change your world, but it will test your knowledge about it. Maybe you'll learn something, or maybe you'll have fun, or possibly both. The concept is extremely simple: pin 30 cities to their locations on a map. The closer you are, the more points you get. There's a highscore list and a practice mode, and you can choose whether to display the cities in English or in the original language.

Included, there are maps of the world (country capitals), the European Union, France, Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States. Several map packs for various additional areas are available as optional free downloads. Currently you can play the following (more to come!):
  • Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden
  • Australia, New Zealand and South Africa
  • Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey
  • Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, South Korea and Taiwan
