Password Issues

Hello,

I have a user who has a Galaxy Note 10.1 GT-N8013 running Android 4.0.4.

We are trying to set up an Exchange account on her tablet. I'm going through the native email setup - Settings > Accounts & sync > Add Account and I choose Exchange (or Corporate, I can't remember at the moment.) We type in her email address and when we go to type in her password we get an error message that 'passwords with spaces are not supported.'

I've set up many Android devices, all with people who have spaces in their passwords and they work just fine. Any thoughts on how to correct this without changing her password or using a 3rd party application?
