Samsung Galaxy Note 2 — Alert sound bt no notification ! What is happening ?

recently, my Note II giving out an alert sound randomly but when i check my phone , no pop out and nothing appear on the screen, its not notification sound, sounds like alert sound/ error sound . before the alert sound issues happened, i did nth on my phones, i dint install new apps too . anyone have idea

Check your settings for something weird with a vibrating option. Also see if you have an event in your calender that is set to vibrate every someting minutes. If not, you might want to go on your carriers website, look up your phone and look at FAQ/Reviews to see if there is any hints.

This could be the alert that tells you are connected and disconnected from the internet. mine does it all the time and it is really annoying. if it is you will get the small warning triangle (with an exclamation mark in it) in the notification bar. apart from turning down th enotification volume, i don't know how to stop it.
