Email Auto Sync

Just received a Galaxy S3 and all is going well apart from my yahoo email account. I am unable to receive emails unless I open the account and let it sync. I, therefore, don't get any notifications and have to manually check periodically. I've uninstalled the account several times and all sync settings appear to be what they should be. Grateful for any suggestions. Thanks!

Solved my issue. I installed my yahoo account manually and it seems to haev cured the issue. Very frustrating but donenow. Happy with the phone but the contrast of the font on Twitter and Facebook apps is very light and hard on the eyes. No probelm with my S2.
